One Night, Six Teens, and a Whole Lot of Screaming |

There’s nothing like the confidence of a group of teenagers… until you drop them in the middle of a haunted cornfield with fog machines and chainsaws in the distance.
We thought we were ready - armed with flashlights, oversized hoodies, and way too many sugary snacks. But the moment the first “creature” jumped out of the shadows at the Haunted House, all bets were off. One teen screamed so loud she scared another group ahead of us. LOL Another tried to run and tripped on his own shoelaces. I’m not saying I screamed louder than the kids… but I’m also not denying it.
By the end of the night, we were laughing so hard we could barely breathe and swore we’d do it again next year. Haunted houses aren’t just about the jump scares. They’re memory-makers, bonding nights, and oddly enough, a lesson in humility for cocky teens who think “haunted stuff isn’t even scary.”
